EcoCareer Compass
The goal of this workshop is to contribute to the development of a robust and diverse scientific workforce that extends beyond academia. To do this we demystify STEM career preparation by connecting degree programs (content knowledge) and the in-demand skills that they provide. The primary goal is to increase awareness in Ecology careers and prepare students to take charge of their career trajectories. In STEM, this work is critical to cultivating the nation’s best scientific talent to meet the demand for STEM scientists over the next decade.
This workshop was adapted from Dr. Melissa McCartney workshops on Biology Careers. Support for this workshop was acquired by Dr. Sparkle L. Malone through the National Science Foundation award number 2047687
